Allergies

Allergies

ALLERGY IS A DISEASE OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM CHARACTERIZED BY AN INAPPROPRIATE IMMUNE RESPONSE TO A VARIETY OF SUBSTANCES,
WHICH WE CALL ALLERGENS.

The most common allergens are

  • Airborne - most commonly pollen, dust, mould, mites or pet hair and feathers
  • Food allergens - milk, eggs, cereal gluten, fish, nuts, soya and citrus fruits
  • contact - metals, jewellery, cleaning and laundry products, paints, topically applied medicines or insect stings

Prevalence of allergies

In the Czech Republic, allergy sufferers represent more than 20% of the population. Allergies are on the rise and it is estimated that by 2015, allergies will affect the lives of half of Europe's population! The sharp increase is attributed to environmental pollution, chemicalisation in agriculture and food production, genetic factors and more.

The most common types of allergy and their manifestations

  • Allergic rhinitis

Here we distinguish 2 basic types. Seasonal rhinitis is mostly of pollen origin and its occurrence is limited in time. The main complaints of the patient are watery rhinitis, coughing, sneezing, burning and watery eyes. A patient with perennial rhinitis is hypersensitive especially to house dust, mites, moulds or pet hair or feathers. Allergic rhinitis is very often accompanied by allergic conjunctivitis, which is most often caused by pollen and manifests itself in itchy and burning eyes, excessive tearing or redness of the eyelids.

  • Atopic eczema

This is a manifestation of an allergic reaction to the skin. Both children and adult patients are affected. Eczematous foci are red, dry, peeling and strongly itchy. In some cases, they may also have a wetting character.
Another form of skin allergy is urticaria. It differs from eczema both in appearance and in the time of seeding. It is characterised by deposits of red pimples with central clearing and severe itching. Unlike eczema, its appearance is limited in time and lasts only a few hours.

The most serious manifestation of allergy is bronchial asthma. Patients suffer from chronic breathing difficulties, when the exhalation phase becomes difficult, a feeling of tightness in the chest and a paroxysmal cough.

In the case of an intensified allergic reaction affecting the body as a whole, we speak of an anaphylactic reaction, which can develop into anaphylactic shock. This condition is immediately life-threatening. It is characterised by rapid breathing and pulse, sweating, pallor and disturbances of consciousness.

The psychological side of the disease
Clinical studies have shown that patients with atopic eczema are more anxious, depressed and highly stressed by their disease.

Classical allergy treatment
Different forms of allergy and allergic manifestations can differ greatly from each other. However, because they are caused by the same mechanism, their treatment tends to be very similar.

The following groups of drugs are used:

  • Antihistamines are the most widely used. Antihistamines are the most common and are taken in the form of tablets, nasal and eye drops or sprays. The most commonly used are Zodac, Zyrtec or Xyzal as tablets, Sanorin analergine as nasal drops and for topical use Fenistil gel. Many of these have already been released for sale in pharmacies.
  • Corticosteroids are hormone-based drugs. They have a strong anti-inflammatory effect, but they exhibit a number of side effects. Their use should be strictly defined by the doctor and should not be used for a long time.
  • Antiasthmatic drugs - as the name implies, they are used to treat asthmatic problems of patients. They are most often applied in spray or tablet form.
  • Desensitization therapy - consists of long-term administration of low doses of a modified allergen. Its purpose is to get the organism "used to" the substance.

Allergy treatment is a long-term affair. The basic treatment is "symptomatic", which mainly removes the symptoms of the disease (runny nose, sneezing, burning eyes, etc.). It aims to keep the course of the disease under control.

Allergies and Energy preparations
These modern bioinformatics are an alternative that offers a holistic, natural and gentle approach for allergy sufferers. Depending on the diagnosis, Energy products can also be used to eliminate stress and stabilize the patient's psychological state.

The first step - effective detoxification

It is an essential prerequisite for further effective action. In the case of seasonal allergies, it is advisable to start this detoxification well in advance of the allergenic period. This step can be skipped for time or economic reasons, but is strongly recommended!

  • Cytosan - potassium humate concentrate, enriched with silymarin and succinic acid, is one of the powerful immunostimulants with exceptional detoxifying properties.

Second step - harmonization of the organism

The second step is to strengthen the organs that are most affected by the allergy. By harmonizing them, we achieve a significant improvement in their condition.
For seasonal allergies, we recommend starting at least two to three months before the start of the allergenic period and persisting until the end of the allergenic period.

  • Regalen - herbal concentrate for strengthening and regeneration of the liver and gallbladder.

Step Three - Acute Care

Acute care is recommended directly in the allergenic period or where the previous steps are not sufficient for the desired effect.

  • Peralgin - a natural product containing extracts of medicinal plants and exotic mushrooms. The basis is the perilla plant, which has been shown to have an anti-allergic effect by blocking the secretion of histamine, thus preventing the development of an allergic reaction. It has an effect on both respiratory and skin manifestations of allergy. It can be combined with anti-allergy drugs.

Fourth step - supplementary care

Recommended as a follow-up to the previous steps to alleviate or correct previous difficulties.
Five herbal creams are designed to care for the skin. The strongest anti-inflammatory and mainly antipruritic effect is shown by the cream Protektin. Itchy rashes, atopic eczema or psoriasis are also beneficially affected by Caralotion moisturising milk, which treats and nourishes the skin. Baths: Balneol has a medicinal base in peat, which is also used in balneotherapy. Biotermal is a bath salt from the Podhájska thermal spring in Slovakia. The parameters of this water have a similar composition to the water from the Dead Sea.

The regeneration procedure can also cause a temporary deterioration of the condition, when a so-called reverse reaction occurs. This may manifest itself, for example, in a rash or its eventual worsening, and there may also be signs of previous problems. These 'healing reactions' are a good indication of rapid
and quality regeneration. It is also important to follow a drinking regime!!!
