Description according to traditional Chinese medicine: This mixture is a modification of the original herbal mixture Su zi jiang qi wan, adjusted to meet today’s needs. The original composition of this mixture focused on the strengthening and warming-up of the kidneys SHEN and eliminating phlegm from the lungs FEI TAN, or on “the state of abundance up and deficiency down”, according to TCM. The present times, marked by heat RE, differs from old China and the need to warm up is not as frequent as it used to be. Due to the current lifestyle, the qi of the spleen PI QI XU is weakened and the middle burner is attacked by moisture SHI, which pushes, in the form of raging qi energy QI NI, against the direction into the lungs FEI, where it stagnates and changes into phlegm TAN. This phlegm then blocks free passage of the qi energy of the lungs FEI QI and causes problems such as cough, shortness of breath, whistling, difficulty breathing, short breathing with difficulty inhaling (allergic reactions) or chest pressure. The herbal mixture is tailored to the needs of the current person, suffering from repeated and chronic allergic or bronchial asthma, often preceded by eczema in childhood.
