Description according to traditional Chinese medicine: This is a newly created Chinese herbal mixture BI MIN GAN WAN, adjusted to meet today’s needs. At present this is a widely used herbal mixture for the treatment of acute, seasonal and allergic rhinitis with the feeling of stuffy nose and loss of smell. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. It can be used for a long time during the pollen season to alleviate or even eliminate allergic reaction and elevated temperature. It also has strong effects in the treatment of the cold with the feeling of stuffy nose and great dried nasal secretion. The approach of Chinese medicine to allergies differs from the approach of Western medicine which investigates “what” the person is allergic to, while the Chinese try to determine “why” the person is allergic. According to traditional Chinese medicine, there are two essential causes of allergies – inborn deficiency of the kidney and lung pathways SHEN/FEI QI XU and improper lifestyle which results in energy depletion along these pathways and in the generation of heat and moisture SHI/RE in the blood. Both causes result in deteriorated immunity of the organism, allowing harmful external agents (most often the harmful external wind FENG) to penetrate the lungs and to block qi energy FEI QI ZHI. This block is then manifested as allergic reaction with all that goes with it, on different body parts. This mixture is often combined with another herbal mixture – Seclusion of the Hermit Chang (code 114), which helps prevent the harmful wind FENG from the surface of the body.

Optimally these tablets should be used with Beverage of Silver Wind (code 844) for a faster onset of the desired effect! In acute cases, these tablets should be used for 3 more days after all symptoms disappear.

In case of rhinitis these tablets can be suitably combined with Shaolin Oil (code 700), which is applied under the nose as needed. In case of allergic diseases it can be conveniently combined with the herbal mixture Seclusion of the Hermit Chang (code 114), which prevents harmful surface wind.

Packaging: 100 tablets / 30 g (100% natural, natural cellulose max. 1% is the only binding agent; made from concentrated herbs at a ratio of 5:1, i.e. 5 g of dried herbs are used per gram of herbal tablets)
