Diseases of the prostate

Diseases of the prostate

THE PROSTATE IS AN ORGAN OF THE MALE REPRODUCTIVE STROY. THE SECRETION IT SECRETES IS PART OF THE OF SEMEN AND ENHANCES THE ABILITY TO MOVE AND SURVIVAL OF SPERM. THE PROSTATE CAN BE AFFECTED BY INFLAMMATION, BENIGN ENLARGEMENT AND TUMORS
DISEASES.

Prostate and its functions
The prostate gland belongs to the male accessory sex organs. It is located in the small pelvis in the space below the bladder. It encircles the urethra like a ring. The normal size is about 3x3 cm and is likened in shape to a chestnut. The secretion secreted by the prostate is part of the semen and enhances the ability of sperm to move and survive.

Diagnosis of prostate disease
A detailed history, urine and blood tests and a palpation of the prostate are used to diagnose prostate disease. Instrumentation used includes ultrasound, computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging.

INFLAMMATIONS OF THE PROSTATE

In most cases, acute prostatitis is bacterial in nature as part of a urinary tract infection, most commonly of the bladder. The origin may also be a sexually transmitted disease or a factor of cold. In older men, the inability to urinate all of the urine from the bladder, which subsequently becomes infected with bacteria.

Symptoms of the disease

Infections are manifested by pain in the pelvic and rectal area, frequent and painful urination, the presence of blood in the urine, increased temperatures or fever.

Classical treatment

Treatment consists of bed rest, antibiotics, adequate drinking and pain control. Repeated inflammation may progress to a chronic form, which is more difficult to treat.

BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERTROPHY

Benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) is an enlargement of the prostate that commonly affects men around the age of 60. It is the most common benign
tumor in men in older age. The initial problems that the disease brings are common and can appear as early as around 50 years of age. Prostate Its growth causes oppression of the urethra, which causes subsequent problems with urination. The likelihood of developing BHP increases with age and its excessive growth is hormonally influenced.

Symptoms of the disease

As a rule, an enlarged prostate does not hurt, it manifests itself mainly by difficulty in urinating:

  • weakened urine stream to urinating drop by drop
  • urge to urinate
  • delayed onset of urination, urination starts late
  • frequent nocturnal urination
  • gradual micturition to micturition that causes hygiene problems
  • repeated urination during the day
  • intermittent urination
  • feeling of incomplete bladder emptying

An enlarged prostate that does not cause the patient any problems is not a reason to start treatment, but only for regular check-ups and monitoring. Targeted treatment is initiated with the onset of the patient's subjective discomfort.

Classical treatment

Nowadays, most patients are treated with medication. These drugs relax the muscle tissue in the prostate, thereby removing the blockage of the urinary
the urethra. Surgery is indicated for men who are not helped by medication or whose course is complicated by urinary retention, bleeding, repeated infections or kidney damage.

PROSTATE TUMOURS

The most common type of malignancy is carcinoma (prostate cancer), which accounts for about 15% of all malignant tumours in men over 50 years. The USA leads the world in incidence, while Asian countries, especially China, have the lowest incidence. The Czech Republic is one of the countries with an average incidence of prostate cancer of 7% of the male population. The most frequent detection is over 65 years of age.

Risk factors

The exact cause of the disease is not clear.

Genetic influences:
the risk of the disease increases with the number of affected relatives. In this case, younger relatives are also at higher risk younger individuals. Here, regular checks are necessary from the age of 40.
Environmental factors:
contact with cadmium, mercury, cobalt, radioactive materials, dioxins or herbicides increases the risk.

Symptoms of the disease

Compared to other cancers, prostate cancer grows relatively slowly. The danger is that the disease may be asymptomatic for a long time. The signs of the disease tend to be similar to those of BHP. More pronounced are difficulty urinating, blood in the urine, sexual dysfunction, pain pelvic and spinal pain. In the later stages, general symptoms of cancer such as lack of appetite, weight gain, and weight loss, weakness and apathy. In the advanced stage of the disease, metastatic spread to the lymph nodes, lungs and bone skeleton occurs.

Classical treatment

Depending on the severity of the disease, treatment of prostate cancer combines surgery (surgical removal of part or all of the prostate), targeted radiotherapy (radiation) or drug treatment based on chemotherapy or hormonal drugs.

Prostate disease and Energy preparations

Energy products are a gentle alternative to conventional medicine and reduce the risk of sometimes serious side effects of drugs. They use principles of bioinformation and bioresonance and therefore show much better efficacy than simple supplements.
