Pregnancy

Pregnancy

PREGNANCY IS A PERIOD THAT LASTS FROM THE TIME FERTILIZATION OF A FEMALE EGG BY A MALE SPERM TO THE BIRTH OF A NEW INDIVIDUAL WHOSE LIFE BEGINS WITH THE FIRST BREATH. THIS PERIOD IS CHARAKTERIZED BY THE DEVELOPMENT OF CELLS, TISSUES AND ORGANS WITH THE GENETIC MAKEUP ACQUIRED BOTH FROM BOTH THE FATHER AND THE MATHER. THE ORGANISM OF PREGNANT WOMAN UNDERGOES A SERIES OF SIGNIFICANT CHANGES PHYSICAL, HORMONAL AND PSYCHOLIGICAL LEVELS.

Physiology of pregnancy
The gestation period in humans lasts approximately 280 days, i.e. 10 lunar months = 40 weeks (calculated from the 1st day of the woman's last menstrual period). Physiological variations are considered to be the duration of pregnancy from 38 to 42 weeks. The earliest stages of division of the fertilized egg take place in the fallopian tube, through which it is transported to the uterus, where it attaches in the mucous membrane about 5 days after fertilization. The mucous membrane envelops the embryo completely, and pregnancy transformation and the production of pregnancy hormone begins, the determination of which in the blood or urine of the woman can diagnose pregnancy at a very early stage. The subsequent period from the 4th to the 11th week of pregnancy is called the embryonic phase of development. This is when organs are formed and is the most sensitive period to possible damage to development. From the 11th week until birth we speak of the fetal development phase, when growth and physiological maturation of organs occurs. During this period, the placenta is already functioning, providing nutrition to the fetus from maternal blood, but also acting as an impenetrable barrier to many harmful substances.rom a practical point of view, it is an important observation that within 16 days of fertilization the embryo reacts to harmful substances by the principle "all or nothing" - i.e. it either dies or develops completely normally.
The gestation period is divided into 3 trimesters (until the 14th week, until the 28th week, until delivery). This is due to the specifics of intrauterine development, changes in the woman's organism and the different risks for each period, which are reflected in the system of care for the pregnant woman.

Nutrition in pregnancy

The misconception still persists that a pregnant woman must eat for two in order for the baby to thrive. In fact, calorie consumption increases by only 300 kcal (3 200 kJ). However, consumption of some vitamins and elements increases by up to 100% (folic acid, iron, vitamin D) and calcium by 50%. A nutritional study of pregnant women in the Czech Republic found that the caloric value of the diet is adequate, but its nutritional value is not balanced. The diet contains excessive amounts of saturated fat, but lacks mainly fibre (only 30% of the recommended daily allowance), which has a protective detoxifying effect. Fat also carries the risk of accumulating toxic substances from the environment. Therefore, it is not advisable for pregnant women to eat large and fatty marine fish. There is also an increase in the consumption of foods containing carbohydrates with a high glycaemic index, which leads to obesity. Calcium, magnesium and iron are noticeably lacking in the diet. The overall recommended gestational weight gain is 8-13 kg.

Pregnancy and classical medicine

The system of care for pregnant women in the Czech Republic is among the absolute world leaders. Pregnancy clinics are run from the beginning of pregnancy to childbirth by erudite specialists in gynaecology and obstetrics, which is not standard in many - even the most advanced - countries.

I. trimester: priorities include the exclusion of thyroid diseases (negative influence on the development of the fetus and its nervous system), the detection of chronic diseases of which the woman was unaware, and the diagnosis of Down's disease. Ultrasound dating of the pregnancy is important.

II. trimester: biochemical screening for Down's disease at week 16, ultrasound examination at week 20 to rule out heart defects and genitourinary, digestive and nervous system defects. At the end of the trimester, the presence of gestational diabetes or signs of impending preterm birth is detected.

III. trimester: sonographic examination to exclude CNS defects and fetal growth retardation, assessment of the placenta (30-32 weeks). In the last month, fetal heart sounds are monitored by instrumentation. In the 36th week, the possible presence of streptococcal infection in the vagina is detected due to antibiotic prophylaxis during delivery.

If a woman does not give birth spontaneously within 10 days after the due date, it is recommended to terminate the pregnancy by inducing labour because of the increase in obstetric complications.

Pregnancy and Energy preparations

As the use of conventional drugs during pregnancy is highly problematic due to the risk of harm to the developing embryo or foetus (very few drugs are considered safe, the vast majority have no safety data and many are known to be teratogenic or toxic), prevention of disease states is extremely important. This is recommended in the form of a healthy diet, adequate exercise, dietary supplements, sufficient sleep and emotional stability.

Thanks to the quality of the ingredients and manufacturing processes, Energy products represent a significant potential in supporting the successful development of pregnancy and fetal health. It should be noted, however, that Pentagram® concentrates should not be used in pregnancy. Not because of toxicity to the embryo or fetus (if a woman takes the concentrate early in pregnancy, there is no damage to the embryo, the pregnancy proceeds normally with the birth of a healthy baby), but because regenerative medicine with the possibility of reversal reactions should not be practiced in pregnancy. Pentagram® creams can replace concentrates very well without causing overall reactions. Complementary products that act as gentle detoxifying agents or substances that promote fetal development and reduce the risk of premature birth are very beneficial.

Energy products

Pentagram® creams
Artrin
- replaces Renol in pregnancy. It strengthens the kidneys (according to TCM the main organ controlling pregnancy), it is used for back pain, joint pain, rotations, bruises. It is applied over the kidney area, around the inner ankles (kidney pathway), on painful places.

Protectin - replaces Regalen. Regenerates the liver. It is effective for liver disorders, gall bladder disorders, tendon and muscle problems, eczema and acne. It is applied over the liver area and on the affected areas.

Ruticelite - replaces Korolen. Improves the function of the vascular and lymphatic system, strengthens the heart. Relieves problems with varicose veins (very gentle massage in the direction of blood outflow), chronic haemorrhoids, "heavy legs" syndrome, swelling of venous-lymphatic origin.

Cytovital - replaces Gynex. It supports the activity of the hormonal system, mainly the thyroid, pituitary and ovarian glands (in the early stages of pregnancy) and also the mammary glands. It is applied over the above mentioned organs and also on the abdomen, buttocks and thighs, where it has a preventive effect against the formation of pregnancy stretch marks. From about the 34th week onwards, it should be used for daily massage of the perineum to reduce the risk of birth injuries or the need for an incision.

Droserin - replaces Vironal. Strengthens the lungs and colon. It is used for cold illnesses and also as a prevention of infections, it effectively suppresses cough (massage of acupuncture points), helps with constipation (gentle massage over the colon in the direction of food passage).

Creams are applied once a day for prevention, twice a day for chronic conditions, several times a day for acute conditions. Their effect is multiplied when applied to acupuncture points and reflex zones.

Chlorella - freshwater algae with gentle detoxifying action, provides the body with necessary vitamins and mineral elements (3 times a day 1-2 capsules).

Probiosan - pre and probiotic. Beneficial effect on the course of pregnancy and health of the newborn proven by medical studies, excellent for constipation, effective prevention of vaginal dysbiosis - prevention of premature birth (1-3x daily 1 capsule).

Vitamarin - fish oil with an ideal ratio of unsaturated fatty acids. Medical studies have shown a beneficial effect mainly on the nervous system of the fetus, stabilization of cell membranes (prevention of premature birth). Taken during pregnancy significantly reduces hereditary transmission of allergy from parents to the child. (2x daily 2 capsules).

Fytomineral
- colloidal solution of minerals with excellent absorption for target cells, helps the activity of enzymes. Very useful in pregnant diabetic women, for cramps and tingling or tingling in the limbs. It can also be administered as a preventive measure (30 drops daily in water).

Preparations are administered according to symptoms, in chronic conditions to support the organs, and also as a preventive measure to achieve a trouble-free course
